A non-profit community-based member organization with a paid staff and volunteer board of directors, charged with the promotion of cities and communities in its service area (primarily central and west Fort Bend County, centered by the cities of Rosenberg and Richmond, but also including outlying areas in the Greater Houston area), economic development assistance, tourism, business services, etc., for the betterment of the community.
