Responsibilities
Manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution (trial or settlement)
Try a case
Advise clients, consult with experts, and build a case strategy early
Review expert reports
Communicate directly with opposing counsel and insurance carriers
Prepare and respond to discovery, motions, and pleadings
Represent clients at hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions
Manage case timelines and deadlines in coordination with your support staff
Be a skilled negotiator
Be skilled in depositions

Requirements

• 5+ years of personal injury COMMERCIAL LITIGATION experience - this is required, not preferred. Personal injury defense attorneys are welcome to apply.
• Trial experience
• Reside in the Greater Houston area. This is not a remote position.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing
• Graduated from an accredited law school
• Deep knowledge of personal injury law, civil litigation, and commercial cases
• Strong drafting, research, negotiation, and client communication skills
• A collaborative mindset - we operate as a team and want attorneys who are invested in building something great together
