Quail Valley Golf Club is a thirty-six hole public facility owned by Missouri City, Texas. One of the golf courses and the clubhouse are undergoing a renovation in excess of 13 million dollars. All facilities are expected to be fully operational by March-May of 2026. The Club is expected to become a premier destination in the southwest Houston area.
We are seeking a Director of Golf who will be instrumental in guiding the facility in its future growth. This is a high-visibility role requiring a leader with exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a passion for delivering a memorable golf experience to a diverse and growing community.
This poistion wil report directly to the General Manager.
Experience Required
A PGA professional (or within six months of acquiring their card). A minimum of five years in the golf industry and a minimum of three years leading a team as a Director of Golf or Head Professional. Consideration may be given to assistant PGA professionals who have exibited exceptional leadership in a multi- golf course facility for a minimum five years.
Must have good written and verbal communication. Experience with Golf 365 Premier is helpful.
Essential Responsibilities
Must have an outgoing personality and become the face of the golf operations. Hard worker with a great work ethic who has a servants heart. Must be a team player who works well with other staff members.
Must have a full understanding of capitilizing on revenue using tee time optimization. Must have prior experience working with outside tournaments. Must have a good understanding of merchandise and payroll control.
The new Director of Golf will build, lead, and develop the golf operations team, including golf professionals, instructional staff, pro shop, and outside services personnel.
