The Director of Golf at Sweetwater Country Club is more than a manager of the Game, it's a leader of experiences. This role is about delivering hospitality at the highest level, where every interaction with members and guests reflects warmth, professionalism, and care. We're looking for someone who thrives in service delivery, who can elevate our 36 holes of championship golf with a focus on first impressions, mentor next generation of pros, merchandising, and tournament excellence. The right candidate will lead a passionate golf operations team, set the
tone for hospitality across the club, and ensure that every round at Sweetwater feels as rewarding as the community it represents.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of Head Golf Professional experience or equivalent leadership role.
• Class A PGA membership in good standing.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing golf operations team, including golf shop, outside services, and practice facilities, with a focus on exceptional hospitality.
• Oversee daily golf operations-carts, bag services, tee sheet management, range, and shop-to ensure a seamless, first-class experience for members and guests.
• Elevate service delivery through professional operations, tournament planning, and member play, fostering passion for the game and strong engagement.
• Manage merchandising strategy, ensuring a well-presented golf shop with the right product mix, training staff to drive sales and service.
• Collaborate across departments-including F&B, events, and course maintenance-to deliver integrated, memorable experiences.
• Maintain operational excellence through budgeting, scheduling, and consistent staff training, while modeling the values and mission of Sweetwater Country Club.
• Represent the Club in PGA activities and maintain PGA membership in good standing.
